For more than 40 years, I have worked with pension and capital consultancy. The first 10 years as head of department for Baltica, later to become TRYG, and more recently in PFA Pension. The last 30 years as owner/manager of the insurance-broker business RISK Int. insurance broker specialised in company pension and alternative investment opportunities, comprising consultancy of a collaborative broking house. Over the most recent 5 years, my focus has been directed towards such investment opportunities as neither banks nor pension companies advise about. Not owing to ill will, but rather because they have no concession or because, politically, they have opted out of such opportunities. As to the latter, probably because they do not consider consultancy within this area to be commercially viable. Nonetheless, precisely such advise will provide an opportunity for the creation of stable investments, regardless of the financial climate which is a stabilising asset to have in one’s portfolio, whether it is about holding companies or retirement custody accounts.
